Dementia Community Road Show.

We have recently launched our Dementia Community Roadshow - a purpose built information vehicle which is travelling around Scotland , aiming to reach 10,000 people over the next three years. It has been made possible by Alzheimer Scotland , along with Alzheimer’s Society, being Tesco Charity of the Year 2011.

The Roadshow vehicle will be at various Tesco stores in South Lanarkshire over the next couple of weeks - details below - and will be open to visitors between 10am and 4pm. People who are currently living with dementia, are worried about a friend or relative’s memory, or have questions about the condition are encouraged to drop by with no appointment necessary and in complete confidence.

There will be posters in the Tesco stores and I hope local press will pick up our press releases but I would also appreciate your help with letting people know the Roadshow is coming.  I can supply posters for you to put up locally if you can, but any support with raising awareness of the Roadshow would be greatly appreciated.

 The ppf are to run an event in April 2012 we are hoping to have the road show at the event.  More details to come.
